It is a beautiful Sunday afternoon and I have time to let you know that mother is now living with us. We moved her from the Vintage Apartments on Tuesday. She is adjusting to her new situation. In her room she has all her own furniture which includes the bed, dresser, chest of drawers, night stand, TV with stand and the secretary. Amazing that all of that fits comfortably in the master bedroom. There will be adjustments for all of us but right now it is fun. We are still in the process of moving smaller items from her apartment. We had Allied Movers move all the large heavy furniture and they did a great job. It is difficult to move things into our home because of the stairs and sharp corners. The dining room plus her couch are now in the family room. Yeah... there is room for many family members to sit down and converse.
