The four decorated Christmas trees at Steven and Christie's...

You probably need an explanation of the four Christmas trees... they all belong to Steven and Christie... the first one is in the kitchen area, the second white one is in the living room, the third one is in their bathroom and the last one is in the quest bedroom. Aren't they beautiful? Enjoy.....

Christmas Memories 2008

What a snowy December we had this year... but Christmas in Texas was magical! We have many sweet and tender memories of going to Texas for Christmas. It was a blessing that Joanie was able to come and spend time with Grandma Louise so we could jet off to be with Steven, Christie, Jeffrey, Cecilia, Liam, and Paz. Paz is Cecilia's mother and she came all the way from Spain.

We rarely have snow in Bremerton but this year it wouldn't stop snowing. With snow on the ground we decided that the Kitsap Airporter was the way to go and come from the airport. Joan arrived on a Friday and we left the next day. A second snow storm arrived about two hours after we left so we were lucky the flight was not cancelled. However, we are grateful that Dee Fry braved the snow and picked us up when we returned from Texas late at night.

We have some pictures to help us remember the fun and amazing time we had. Wish I could do it all again. We loved every minute!! I remember Steven saying that he feels it is important for family to be together for important holidays and he is right! The food was yummy and the decorations were beautiful! It was fun to see our sons cooking together and see their decorated yards. We also had fun singing Primary songs and songs that we have sung in the car for years. Nothing is as precious as your family!

We actually had two Christmas's because we had Christmas with Grandma Louise and Joan when we returned. Joan had to shovel a lot of snow to keep the sidewalk clear and she did a great job with Grandma Louise. The morning after the second snow storm Joan looked out and someone was shoveling the sidewalk... it was our neighbor Michael Insani who wanted to be of help while we were gone. Joan and I went Christmas shopping after Christmas and that was so fun. We also went to the movie one afternoon. Sweet memories to treasure! I love my family!
